Bunbury Street, Meadows

The owner of this semi-detached home had an awkward segment of garden to the rear of the house which they wanted to build an extension on. Due to the nature of the boundary and location of an existing water main, WD sought to design an extension which complemented its surroundings and worked with the site’s space constraints.

The result was this small extension which includes a 45 degree turn in its external wall, creating an interesting internal form, complemented by an impressive pitched roof lantern.

The client’s chosen kitchen, flooring, tiling and furniture accentuated the space, creating a warm and functional social setting in a relatively small space.
