The young family living in this detached house in Cotgrave were in desperate need of additional space. Walker Design produced plans for a rear extension which created a new Study and Shower Room, whilst also extending the Kitchen to include a Dining area.
The inclusion of bifold windows and a pitched roof lantern into the extension allowed natural light to flood into the space. During summer months the bifold windows can be fully opened to connect garden with home – fantastic for social gatherings.
Partitioning half of the garage off to form a new Utility room added functionality to the home and kept noisy white goods away from the main living areas.
