Rear Single Storey Extension
This rear single-storey extension was designed for a young couple who had recently moved to West Bridgford with their young child. Having purchased a property with plenty of potential but in need of significant renovation, their vision was to create a forever home that could adapt to their family’s needs for many years to come.
The extension has transformed the property by creating a bright and spacious open-plan living area that strengthens the connection between the home and the garden, providing the ideal setting for everyday family life as well as entertaining friends and relatives.
A combination of red brick and crisp white render was chosen to give the extension its own identity while complementing the existing house. An oriel-style window and a roof light within the pitched roof helps increase natural light into the property.
